Departure for the impressive sandy needles of Tikobaouine. View of the high dunes of the Erg Admer. Visit to the Touia guelta. A succession of deep gorges before opening into the Hell wadi. Bivouac.

After crossing the Ekrar pass, we reach the famous Essendilène canyon. Cliffs, tamarisks, palm trees, oleanders, and gueltas await. Bivouac under the tamarisks.

Departure towards Tin Amali. We head towards the Imaharhaten plateau. Progressing towards the El Berj wadi (rock paintings and engravings). Bivouac.

We cross the dunes to the magnificent dune landscape of Moul Naga: a sea of sand that extends infinitely. Bivouac.

We discover the dunes of Téhé Tahoussait and the imposing arches shaped by the wind. Along the banks of the In Djaren wadi, we observe the engravings of Ouan Zaouaten. Rock paintings of savannah animals likely attest to a more humid climate and more abundant vegetation. We reach the Tin Tihak arch, bivouac.

We make a stop near the Bouhedian guelta. There, we admire rock paintings dating back to the Neolithic era and the famous rock that resembles a hedgehog. An unforgettable view stretches to the Tin Merzouga dunes: a landscape tinged with red at sunset. Bivouac.

We leave Tin Merzouga to head towards Imesnougua and its caves polished by erosion, then we progress towards In Djaren. Visit of parietal paintings and engravings. Bivouac at Tin Tebourak.

We walk along the banks of the In Djaren wadi to admire paintings and engravings of rare beauty and in magnificent condition. Bivouac amidst the Ajalati dunes.

We leave Tadrart for the Timras region. A gentle return to the Djanet oasis while admiring, along the way, rock formations that stimulate the imagination and endless stretches of sand. Bivouac.

Continuation towards Tiska, a place extremely rich in prehistoric lithic industry (arrowheads, shaped pebbles, and other tools attesting to a very lively human presence). Bivouac.

Visit to the Djanet oasis, shopping, and shower. We head to Tégharghart where the famous prehistoric rock engraving "the crying cow" is located. Dinner. Transfer to Djanet's Aguenar Airport.
